Name of the Post: Associate Professor (Sociology / Social Anthroploly)

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400 - 67000 AGP 9000/-
Eligibility: Candidate must possess Good academic record (with 50% Average for all years/semesters in undergraduate course; passed in first attempt). A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in Sociology /Social Anthropology (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). Ph.D. in Sociology /Social Anthropology. Minimum eight years experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position-+ equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 (Five) publications as books and/or research/policy papers.

Minimum eight years experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 (Five) publications as books and/or research/policy papers.

Eligibility: Candidate must possess B.E./B. Tech and ME/M/Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B. Tech. or M.E./ M.Tech OR A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Computer Science from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
