To meet these challenges we are seeking Computer Scientists/Software Engineers to build advanced trading and risk applications. We'll give you state-of-the-art technology and resources, enabling you to write computationally intensive software to beat Dalal Street in the world's highest stakes game. We are seeking Project Lead, Team Leads and Architects to work on front, middle and back office projects. Areas of proprietary software developed in- house include data integration, trade management, risk analysis, electronic trading front-ends, and various trading applications. This person will have solid experience in developing software for the financial industry.
Responsibilities may include system architecture, project management, team leadership, and requirements management. This is a hands-on development role. This position entails creating and maintaining the overall system architecture for a very dynamic investment group and leading a small development team to design, implement, and test trading applications.Position requires expertise in systems design, programming and integration of high-volume, high-availability applications.
This position will be located in Andheri -West, Mumbai.
POSITION SUMMARY:
You will build custom, trading applications for a leader in the industry, working with a team of top technology professionals, interacting with senior partners and traders, and maintaining the systems that you design, build, test and deploy
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform full lifecycle development of trading applications using VC++, C#, SQL, and other languages Work with traders to determine application requirements Integrate custom systems with trading exchanges and market data vendors Support and maintain software
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree / Masters or Phd in Computer Science or Computer Engineering History of academic excellence Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development Knowledge of VC++, C#, the .NET framework, and SQL is preferred, but not required Excellent problem solving skills.
Desire to work in a team environment.
Interest in financial markets.
