We’re looking for a full stack Web Developer who is excited about creating fantastic graphics to enhance our UI capabilities in the emerging markets. The role will be based in our India office at Ahmedabad.
A key element of this role is to develop applications, widgets and graphic design with perceptual speed and originality.
Role activities:
Collaborate and work closely with project managers, stakeholders and design team members to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies.
Incorporate technical considerations and inputs into design plans and performance requirements.
Create and transform new and existing applications, develop “proof of concepts”, design, code, create prototypes and test technical solutions.
Validate platform and browser compatibility with other devices and operating systems in mobile and web environments to meet industry standards.
Design, develop and manage SQL databases and reporting tools.
A highly creative mind to communicate your ideas through graphics and images.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
What you need to get here:
A really impressive online portfolio that showcases your work as a web developer would be good to have.
Around 5 years of experience coding with HTML5, CSS3 , Java.
Proficiency with one or more modern scripting languages : Python, Django, Javascript.
Proficiency with one or more lightweight frameworks like : Flask , Angular JS, Ember JS, MVC, MVW, MVVM.
Experience with mid-tier, back and server side development is desirable.
Experience working with databases: SQL, MySQL, Oracle.
Agile/Scrum development experience is required.
Strong sense for design and excellent understanding of usability for web and mobile.
Experience working for a B2C business as well as enterprises.
Experience with Adobe suite especially Illustrator and Photoshop is desirable.
BS from reputed university: Information systems, computer science, fine arts, graphic design.
