conceptualize and build a great product
You will be responsible for working on the software design as well as building, testing, debugging and troubleshooting programs and scripts for various functions, and modifying existing code to add new features.
Design, develop, maintain and optimize secure and scalable multi-tier web applications with high volumes of traffic and high availability.
Skills
Strong knowledge of PHP 5, Javascript, UNIX shell, SQL, XML… (3+ years of experience)
Experience with major PHP frameworks (CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, Kohana, etc.)
Strong CMS experience with open source systems such as Wordpress
Developers with experience theming / developing for Zend Cart and Magento Commerce Platform will be treated with priority.
Strong Object Oriented Programming skills and experience with languages such as Java, Python or C#
BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Extensive experience with LAMP stack and open source software in general
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMSs
Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs
Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
Must be self-motivated, and able to multi-task
Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient
Qualifications
Degrees in Computer science, IT, software engineering, web development, programming or other subjects
Certification in PHP web development, graphics and software programming
More specific Diploma, degree or certificate in web development, multimedia design, web design and web content management.

Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology
Must be able to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology and its effects to the business environment
