Hands on Testing of software/product
* Develop test cases, review, execution and maintaining them
* Manage the day-to-day activities of the test project team: execute test assignments, track test results, enter bugs in defect tracking system, interact with development team, product team and others
* Provide status reports to Lead
* Be a part of team or independently executes project(s)
* Participate in the team meetings
OS :
(A). For Application Testers : Windows and Linux (Scripting preferred)
(B). For Mobile Testers : Mobile OS- J2ME, Android, Windows, iOS
Domain : Telecom and Enterprise
Skills:
(a). Essential:
* Passionate about testing and having a thorough knowledge of testing methodologies and processes.
* Experience in testing preferably in the mobile/consumer electronics domain like testing mobile applications/handsets
* Ability to prioritize test cases based on team goals
* Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Testing techniques and tools
* Ability to effectively communicate and interact with cross-functional teams
* Scripting skills in either Perl or shell is preferred
* Self motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work
(b). Desirable:
* Prior experience in working medium to large testing teams
* Automation experience is a plus
* Experience or exposure to all aspects of testing like load, stress and performance etc. is a plus
