Job Title / Designation: Software Engineer
Job Description:
· Web Front End engineer responsible for design and development of Rich Internet Applications (RIA).
· Develop fast, scalable, data-intensive web applications that are easy to maintain and extend.
· Own feature development from conceptualization, definition through delivery with a strong urge to please end users.
· Exhibit strong design and development skills.
· Ability to research, follow up and resolve complex challenges faced by the team.

Skill Requirements
· 3-5 years’ experience in Web 2.0 GUI development.
· Experience developing RIAs for data-intensive applications.
· Experience in developing Flash / AIR based event driven User Interface, client applications with JavaScript interactivity on a Java or Python web services back end layer.
· Similar experience in developing HTML / Javascript / CSS based AJAX UI.
· Design the GUI application in a modular fashion using well established design patterns and frameworks. Experience in system sizing, performance and security aspects of GUI apps would be a huge plus.
· Develop and test GUI applications as per UI mockups and standard UI style guide specifications.
· Perform end-to-end system integration of GUI with backend services.
· Maintain and support existing GUI applications.
· Good, clean, maintainable coding practices.
· Interface with Product Management to understand/fine-tune product requirements.
· Interface with QA and UAT team to support in certification of the app.
· Experience in unit test automation such that the test cycle is shortened.
· Exposure to open source UI component libraries.
· Excellent problem solving skills for explicit and implicit requirements.
· Prior experience with working in agile and fast paced environment.
· Adherence to Development Lifecycle.
Specific Skill Set :
· Familiar with multi-tier web application architecture and design patterns.
· Expert level skills in ActionScript, Flash/Flex/AIR, HTML5, Javascript, CSS.
· Familiar with Javascript frameworks ( jQuery, DOJO, ExJS, etc.) AJAX framework and SWIZ / Cairngorm frameworks.
· Familiar with Cross browser nuances in UI development.
· Skills and experience in secure GUI coding practices.
· General know-how of do’s and don’ts’ in UI development including graceful degradation for those browsers that do not support newer features.
Technical Skill requirements
· Demonstrated expertise in Design Patterns and Applications.
· Exposure to Java, Maven, Flex Mojos is a plus.
· UI Design skills.
Minimum Work Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant areas of responsibilities
Annual CTC: 10-12 Lakhs
Location(s) of Job: Bangalore, India.
Minimum Education Requirements:
· Regular Full Time Degree in Engineering
· MCA or equivalent from a recognized university/institute.
No of rounds of Interviews: 4 rounds
Work Timings : 9:00am-6pm
