Job Description
· Working experience with PPM Modules (Demand, Project, Deployment, Time, Resource). Strong hands-on experience configuring PPM solutions across all modules for ver 9.1.
· Ability to troubleshoot technical (infrastructure) and application (domain) issues.
· Ability to understand PPM server setup and configuration. Installs and configure all HP PPM modules for clients.
· Provides knowledge sharing and trains and supports both PPM team and end-users of the PPM application for all modules while following best-practices.
· Provide support and assistance for upgrade and service pack installs. Experience with HP PPM Product Upgrades & Migrations
· Deploy and maintain custom dashboards and port lets customized to meet end users’ needs.
· Maintain complex workflows for migration to and from multiple source/destination environments.
· Knowledge of Integrating external services and databases with the PPM tool
· Build best practices and understand processes and policy
· Contributes information and ideas to improve existing products
· Identify and address issues and risks to ensure day to day deliverable s are not impacted.
· Applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of PMO principles and HP PPM technologies used in improving the maturity of end user organizations.
Requirements
Should have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
· Experience working in PPMC Production Support (Mandatory).
· Good knowledge of Oracle Pl/SQL and UNIX (Mandatory).
Knowledge on ITIL process - Incident, Change and Release Management (Desired).
Flexibility to work in 24*7 shifts on a rotation basis.
The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is essential.
· Self-motivated, directed and passionate about what you do.
Experience and Qualification:
· BE/MCA in Computer Science/Engineering (Min of 15 years of formal education).
· 3-5 years’ experience in PPMC with at least a year in Production support
· Prior customer-facing experience a must.
